Before blowing out my large intestine this was a favorite Recipe of mine that was mandated During NFL Sunday's get togther.
1 Skirt Steak approx 2 feet. (Skin as much fat off) 4 Large Onions 3 Peppers The colors don't matter 1 bottle of Chinese terriyaki Sauce its thicker then the regualar sauce. 1lb White American Cheese
Griddle Prefered cooking method.
Take the onions and cut it in half and slice them up approx 1/4" thick. Clean the peppers and cut them up into 1/4" strips. 3 Table Spoons of Olive oil on the grill.
Cook the peppers and onions till they are well done and nicely colored. Remove from the griddle and place into a bowl.
Cook the skirt steak whole. They usually like Medium Well; once the steak is cooked up cut the steak into hero size servings I can get 4 servings out of one steak 3 if they want to be fat bastards that day. Once the servings are made up cube the meat into 3/4" cubes.
Place the meat back on the griddle along with some pepper and onions now add the Terriyaki glaze. Stir together real well (NICE AND STICKY) once done add the cheese to it and let the cheese melt. Place your favorite Hero or Italian bread right on top and with a spatula flip it all over right onto a plate and serve.
***Count your fingers after serving was bitten by one of the guys as I was serving him***

I love homemade subs of all kinds.. this one sounds pretty good. I'd skip on the Teriyaki sauce though, not a big fan. I'll post one of my all time favorite recipes for one real soon. I'll have to think of a name for it though.. "Hawkaburger" just doesn't sound appetizing.
